Sino Group has been conferred for the second time 'Manpower Developer 1st (MD1st)' at the ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme 2012 in recognition of its steadfast commitment and outstanding achievements in manpower development, and in promoting a learning culture within the organisation. The Group first received the honour in 2010.
Organised by the Employee Retraining Board, the Scheme was launched in December 2009. It is the first award scheme in Hong Kong to assess the manpower development strategies and practices of organisations, and to recognise and support employers who strive to provide manpower training for their employees.

Four projects of Sino Group have been recognised at the inaugural Skyrise Greenery Awards. Citywalk & Citywalk 2 and 18 Kowloon East took the silver awards while The Hennessy and The Hermitage bagged the merit awards. Among all award-winning entries, Citywalk & Citywalk 2 has been conferred the Gold Award.
The awards, initiated and organised by the Greening Landscape and Tree Management Section of the Development Bureau, aim to promote the development of quality skyrise greening, and to give recognition to exemplary projects that showcase the integration of skyrise greenery into the built environment of Hong Kong.

The remodelled Royal Pacific Hotel and Towers hotel wing lobby, business centre and premier lounge won the IC@ward for interiors design in recognition of its outstanding new interiors. The design competition was hosted by the International Council of Interior Architects / Designers (ICIAD) and co-organised by the Media and Design Faculty of Shanghai JiaoTong University. The judging panel was made up of renowned international architects, designers and experts from commercial and academic fields. Criteria for winning designs included innovation, function and aesthetics. The award affirms Royal Pacific's stylish image.
